How to Participate (What to Expect)
A Public Input Hearing is a structured way for residents to share comments directly into the official record. Any testimony given becomes part of the record the PUC considers when making its decision.
Tips for offering testimony (high-level):
-
Prepare what you want to say ahead of time (writing it out can help).
-
Your testimony becomes part of the official record.
-
Be aware that you may be asked a question to clarify something you said.
Can’t Attend In Person?
Senator Muth’s announcement also notes that the PUC scheduled telephone public input hearings for those unable to attend in person, and that pre-registration is encouraged by 4:00 p.m. on January 19, 2026.
