Coatesville Community Pride in Action!

Litter Cleanups are just one way to keep our City streets and water supplies clean. In 2025, Chester County Litter Lifters, 2nd Century Alliance, and the City of Coatesville teamed up to host seven community cleanups. Thanks to the incredible effort of dozens of dedicated volunteers, we collected an amazing 454 bags of trash — keeping our neighborhoods cleaner, greener, and more welcoming for everyone. Beth Intoccia, Founder of Chester County Litter Lifters, said: “I truly am meeting the best people in the world at these cleanups – people from the city and people from the fringes of the city – we are all working together to create community and build pride.”
