A Heat Advisory is in effect. Please take precautions and stay safe during extreme heat conditions.
An Extreme Heat Warning is currently in effect for the City of Coatesville and surrounding region. Dangerous heat index values are expected to reach 100°F to 110°F. City Hall recommends everyone to avoid extended time outside. Please remember to drink plenty of fluids and look out for one another.
Safety Tips:
- Stay hydrated — drink plenty of water
- Stay cool — remain in air-conditioned places when possible
- Limit outdoor activity, especially from 10 AM to 4 PM
- Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heatstroke
- Check on elderly neighbors, children, and pets
