Ignite CDFI Updates
- CCEDC received an additional $1.1 million in grant funding ($3,079,133 in total) from the Commonwealth to support direct business microgrants to underserved business owners in the same nine-county footprint as our Catalyst Loan Fund.
The latest round of New Business Champion (NBC) grants focused on supporting agriculture-based entrepreneurs. Awards included $35,573 to agricultural entrepreneurs and $14,427 to other entrepreneurs who qualified for additional support services. This funding ensured that sector-specific businesses and broader entrepreneurial needs were addressed—supporting business growth, sustainability, and access to critical resources across the ecosystem.
