Through Coatesville’s Weed and Seed Program, residents can get involved in their community through the AID and TALL Teams to work towards making life better for themselves, their neighbors, and for the City. Various organizations, agencies and religious organizations within Coatesville and the surrounding vicinity are members of the AID (Assistance for Impact Delegation) Team. The TALL (Target Area Local Leadership) Team is comprised of people in the community who possess leadership qualities and are taught how to champion pertinent issues of their communities and neighborhoods on a grass-roots level. These members are encouraged to partner with each other and with other agencies in order to achieve community bonding and social cohesion within the City.

Such partnerships with the community provides opportunity for physical, emotional, educational, economic and social growth to improve the public infrastructure and services to enhance the quality of life of individuals, strengthen neighborhoods, and empower families.
